Cirkevní otcovia východu

Veľký pôst pre domácu Cirkev: Druhý piatok (12)

Veľký pôst nám ponúka niekoľko spôsobov, ako sa stretnúť s Kristom: prostredníctvom hlbšej modlitby a uctievania, cez intenzívnejší pôst a almužnu. Je to tiež ideálny čas na stretnutie so živým Božím slovom na stránkach písaného Božieho slova – Biblie. Nahraďte čas strávený pri televízii alebo pri zábave čítaním Svätého písma.

Počas liturgie pravidelne počúvame čítania z Biblie, ale možno nevieme, ako tieto spisy samostatne preskúmať. Prvým krokom je oboznámiť sa s obsahom. Naučte sa, ktoré knihy tvoria Starý zákon a ktoré sú v Novom zákone. Starý zákon zahŕňa Zákon, Prorokov a ostatné spisy. V Novom zákone nájdeme štyri evanjeliá, apoštolské spisy (Skutky a listy) a knihu Zjavenia.


Odber nových článkov


Ak ste nikdy nečítali žiadnu z týchto kníh od začiatku do konca, začnite jedným z evanjelií. Urobte to ako rodina. Ak poznáte Nový zákon, začnite skúmať Starý zákon. Na našich každodenných pôstnych bohoslužbách čítame zo Zákona (Genezis), Prorokov (Izaiáš) a ostatných spisov (Príslovia). Denne si prečítajte kapitolu z jednej z týchto kníh. Ak vás znepokojuje to, čo čítate, porozprávajte sa o tom so svojím kňazom po pôstnych bohoslužbách.

• Vymenujte tri základné časti Starého zákona. Prečítajte si Lk 24, 44 a zistite, čo Pán povedal o Starom zákone.

• Ktoré novozákonné knihy čítame na božskej liturgii?

• Z ktorých starozákonných kníh tiež čítame na liturgii?
